Office 365 - Quick Reference Guides
A series of quick reference guides for the Office 365 apps, including OneDrive for Business, the Office Online apps, Delve, and Forms.  Each guide is two pages, to be printed front and back on card stock.  7 guides, 14 pages.

SharePoint Online - Introduction
A combination presentation and training manual used as an introduction course for SharePoint Online.  Course did not require prior knowledge of the use or function of SharePoint.  90 minutes, 90 slides.

OneDrive for Business - Introduction
A combination presentation and training manual used as an introduction course for OneDrive for Business.  Presentation contains more material than was used in class; designed to be a reference for students after class.   90 minutes, 172 slides.

Access XP - Queries
A student manual written for the full-day instructor-led course Access XP Queries at Philadelphia Gas Works.  106 pages.

Office 2013 - Setting up Excel 2013
One in a series of four presentations designed to guide users through the process of setting up and changing settings of Excel 2013 during a migration from Office 2010 to Office 2013.  42 slides.

Office 2013 - Setting up Outlook 2013
One in a series of four presentations designed to guide users through the process of setting up and changing settings of Outlook 2013 during a migration from Office 2010 to Office 2013.  50 slides.

Office 2013 - Setting up PowerPoint 2013
One in a series of four presentations designed to guide users through the process of setting up and changing settings of PowerPoint 2013 during a migration from Office 2010 to Office 2013.  48 slides.

Outlook 2007 - Creating Signatures
A short instruction guide written for users in the Office of Institutional Advancement (Drexel) on how to create e-mail signatures in Outlook and how to create the department "standard signature".  8 pages.

Outlook XP - Calendar
A student manual written for the full-day instructor-led course Outlook XP Calendar at Philadelphia Gas Works.  Originally intended to be a single, full-day course, this class (and course materials) were later divided into three.  224 pages.

Outlook XP - Intermediate
A student manual written for the full-day instructor-led course Outlook XP Intermediate at Philadelphia Gas Works.  123 pages.

Outlook XP - Tasks
A student manual written for the half-day instructor-led course Outlook XP Tasks at Philadelphia Gas Works.  Originally, this material was a single chapter in a full-day Outlook class.  The Tasks chapter was extracted and expanded to a two-hour workshop.  That material was further expanded to this half-day class.  84 pages.

SharePoint 2010 - New Features
A presentation created to highlight some of the new features of SharePoint 2010.  Audiences were people who were current users of SharePoint 2007. One hour presentation, 33 slides.

SharePoint 2010 - Introduction
A combination presentation and training manual used as an introduction course to SharePoint 2010.  Course did not require prior knowledge of the use or function of SharePoint.  Three hours, 84 slides.

SharePoint 2010 - Working with Lists for End Users
A combination presentation and training manual used to teach the function and use of SharePoint Lists to basic end users.  Three hours, 114 slides.

SharePoint 2010 - Designing and Managing Lists for Site Owners
A combination presentation and training manual used to teach site owners how to design and manage SharePoint Lists.  Three to four hours, 114 slides.

SharePoint 2010 - New Features and Collaboration Benefits
A high-level overview presentation created for a client.  Client requested a presentation for senior executives and managers that highlighted new features and collaboration benefits of SharePoint 2010.  One hour presentation, 68 slides.

TELEWORK ONLINE

 

This section contains documents created for use in teaching Telework Online.  Telework Online was a product created by LCG and used by several institutes at the NIH.  The product tracks telework applications.

Telework Online - Administrator Guide
A complete instruction guide written for administrators using the Telework Online product.  Used as a reference guide as well as training manual.  Was also converted into a self-help site.  166 pages.

Telework Online - Applicant Quick Reference Card
A quick reference card for use by applicants.  Designed to be printed front/back on a single sheet.

Telework Online - Applicant Quick Reference Booklet
A quick reference booklet for use by applicants.  Designed to be printed front/back on a single 11x17 sheet and folded into a four-page booklet.

Telework Online - Approver Quick Reference Card
A quick reference card for use by approvers.  Designed to be printed front/back on a single sheet.

An instruction guide written for development officers and administrative assistants in the Office of Institutional Advancement (Drexel) on how to use the Tasks feature of the web version of Sungard Higher Education's Advance database system.  18 pages.

Drexel VPN - Installation and Connection Guide
An instruction guide written for the "road warriors" and fellow IS staffers of the Office of Institutional Advancement (Drexel) on how to use Drexel University's VPN client software. 9 pages.

FileMaker Pro 6 - Using the Requests HSD System
An instruction guide written for users in the Office of Institutional Advancement (Drexel) how to use the IS requests database for submitting problems and requests. 12 pages.

LCG Inc. - Installing and Using the LCG Template and Design Theme
An instruction guide written for LCG employees on how to install and use the custom Microsoft Office Design Theme created by me for use by all employees in creating new Office documents and presentations.  20 pages.
